My Grandfather drive truck after serving in the US Army in WWII. My father served in the US Navy for 8 years then retired at 21 years with the US Coast Guard serving. Long after my 8 years of active duty in the US Air Force, I eventually acquired my CDL through Sage Truck Driving School, which was founded by a Veteran.

I truly believe in the missions of Team Veteran Foundation & Team Veteran LLC.  They have a most unique program that I haven't found anywhere else.

After receiving my CDL I was going through a national carrier's training to go on the road for them, but chose to go home during their over-the-road training because I had 2 last children to make sure they graduated high school and earned his Eagle Scout rank.  Likely would not have happened if I hit the road.
